NFL X FIT
Background
The National Football League is one of the most popular sports league in North America. Yet, over the last few years, there’s been a decline in millennial engagement with the sport.
Project
Wanting a new look to appeal to a new generation of fans, the NFL enlisted FIT students to design a visual system to be used on their merchandise. The designs should capture the spirit of football in a way that would engage both avid and casual fans alike.
My team developed the concept: “For the Love of the Game”. We created a system inspired by the amazing feats of athleticism achieved by players to make some of the best comebacks in football history. We took famous plays that acted as turning points in historic games and memorialized them using geometric designs inspired by each team.
